Non Profit brings back Beatification Awards.

Keep Orange County Beautiful (KOCB), a 10-year old non-profit organization based in Orange, is re-establishing its Beautification Awards program this spring.
The previous program presented awards on a monthly basis. The new program will present quarterly awards, continuing the practice to present awards for both residential and commercial properties.
This new program is being designed and implemented in cooperation with the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce (GOACC). GOACC will concentrate on the commercial properties while KOCB will focus on residential properties.
The new program fits well with the Watch Orange Grow campaign sponsored by the Stark Foundation and embraced by the entire community. Watch Orange Grow is promoting the cleanup of individual neighborhoods and residences, as well as businesses. The new Beautification Program will award those whose work has been judged to be of the highest quality.
Specific criteria are still being worked out by a joint committee of KOCB and GOACC members. If the public would like to contribute suggestions or comments, they can be addressed to Info@KOCB.org or mailed to PO Box 293, Orange TX 77631.
